Alaina Tennant is currently a senior at Akron School for the Arts at Firestone CLC. She has appeared as an actress in over 20 on-stage shows across Northeast Ohio. Most notably, Mrs. Green in the High School Premier of The Prom, Frances in the first licensed production of The Fairest, and Anne Frank in Weathervane Playhouse's The Diary of Anne Frank. She's won filmmaking awards from the Cleveland International Kids Film Festival, KidsFilmItFestival, Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, and others. Her dramatic writing has received perfect scores at her state Thespy awards for two consecutive years. Her one-act play, Freiheit, will be performed at the Ohio State Thespian Conference after receiving a staged reading at the Northeast Ohio Area Thespian Conference. Freiheit will go on to compete Internationally.
